Lazio travel to Bologna for another typical six-pointer. The two teams get to this game in totally opposite mood, though. After achieving the fourth consecutive positive result, Lazio will want to extend their streak. Something Bologna would be keen to avoid, having not won a competitive game in the last five fixtures. Their last victory came at the expense of Napoli one month ago (2-1 on 7th March). Since then, they achieved only one draw and 4 defeats. The two streaks are respectively the longest positive and negative ones of the two teams’ season.

ANOTHER DRAW: WANNA BET?
Looking at the table and at the fixtures list, a draw would be very convenient for both clubs. A draw is only 3/5 with Italian bookmakers Snai and Totosì and Bwin even decided not to accept any gamble on this match. Although we think a victory for each team would prove very useful too. Lazio will have to face Inter and Roma both at home, while relegation rivals Atalanta will have to face them away. That’s why getting all the three points in Bologna would help Lazio to secure a very strong position in the table before a much felt derby. Lazio fans don’t think this will be just another draw. More than 3,000 will travel to Bologna for this cruncher. While Curva and Distinti Nord sections are already sold out for next week’s derby.

THE COACHES

As a coach, Edy Reja has always seen his team score at Stadio Dall’Ara. In 6 previous occasions Cosenza, Hellas Verona, Vicenza (twice) and Napoli (also twice) scored a total 9 goals.
Reja managed Lazio in the last 9 games and the team failed to score only once – at home against Bari (0-2).
Bologna coach, Franco Colomba, only beat Lazio once on 8 occasions. That was when Livorno won 1-0 in November 2004 thanks to a Cristiano Lucarelli winner.

STATISTICS
This is the 66th competitive meeting of these clubs in Bologna. Lazio have won only 11, drawn 15 and lost 39 of the previous encounters. Last time the two teams drew, was back in the 1989/90 season when the match ended 1-1.
Bologna only kept one clean sheet in the last 13 home matches (0-0 against AC Milan back in February). In the remaining 12 fixtures, they conceded 19 goals.
